Chogori means “big mountain” in the Tibetan language of Balti. It is the name given to K2 by the residents of the small villages that nestle at its base. The name embodies authenticity and honesty, values shared by a family who are enthusiastic about rediscovering their roots, reflecting the K2 philosophy, in order to welcome you to the heart of the highest ancestral village in the Haute Tarentaise.
Le K2 Chogori in Val d’Isère reflects the philosophy of hospitality embodied in the know-how offered by the Capezzone family, Jérôme Revuelta, the group’s co-managing director and their employees. Made up of two welcoming chalets, this contemporary hotel showcases the aesthetics of natural materials, respecting Val d’Isère’s typical architectural style where slate and stone enhance the warmth of wood and the restrained colours of the decor.
