At the heart of Méribel, nestled into the picture-postcard snow-covered peaks and natural surroundings, Le Kaïla found its origins. A «signature» hotel, born from the Dallery Family spirit and which bears the print of this dynasty of builders through the continued work of Aurélia and Jean-Luc Montgourdin, the third generation. More than simply a profession, welcoming and hosting guests is a passion for these hotel owners. Drawing its name from the Tibetan term Kailash, meaning «Jewel of the Snows», Le Kaïla has a host of exceptional virtues.
Le Kaïla is the first five-star hotel in Méribel and has been passed down through family generations in the same way as a precious heirloom. From the moment it opened in December 2012, the hotel strived to create a setting of unparalleled comfort and sophisticated décor to unite grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren. With 39 unique rooms including 24 suites, and the possibility of connecting many of them, everyone can enjoy their stay in total intimacy while staying close to their loved ones. A bistro high in the mountains that can be reached on foot or by ski, for a sunny lunch or sunbathing, while enjoying the breathtaking panorama lying before you. And for those days devoid of sun, come and appreciate the warm interior. Simple dishes are the order of the day, all home-made.
Our smoking lounge is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy aged cognacs, with wonderful cigars.
At Le Kaïla bar, you can enjoy some of our delicious cocktails in the cosy, fireside atmosphere. The piano and saxophone music provide for a jazz ambiance.

Meribel is an umbrella term for an area of The Three Valleys which includes the ski resorts of Les Allues, Meribel Village, Meribel Centre, Les Hauts and Mottaret.

Giving access to ski terrain ranging from 1100m to 2952m in altitude, with 150km of pistes. The pistes are made up of eight green, 25 blue, 24 red and seven black runs.
