Hotels 4*

The Bouganville, Le Palme and Il Borgo are areas of 4-star bungalows located within the lush gardens that are ideal for couples, and for families with children of all ages.

Hotels 5*

The Le Dune, located near the beach, offers large bungalows and luxurious suites. Hotel Castello is an elegant luxury hotel near the sea with its own heated swimming pool, it also has a limited number of Castello Garden Bungalows. Villa Del Parco is an intimate hotel ideal for couples. A member of Leading Hotels of the World, it is located in private gardens adjacent to the Acquaforte SPA and it has a rooftop gourmet restaurant. The Hotel Pineta is a trio of newly refurbished two storey courtyards nestled in a pine grove.

Suites & Villas

Waterfront Suites touch the beach and face directly to the sea. The Hotel Castello suites also have stunning panoramic views. The superb luxury Villas each have a private garden with a private swimming pool and butler service.

The resort has completed a €40m refurbishment program of all accommodation, and public areas. The Forte Arena, adjacent to the Forte Village, has a calendar of entertainment every year, previous shows have included Sting and Shaggy, Andrea Bocelli, Il Volo, Anastacia, the ballet Swan Lake.

New facilities include: a new children’s playpark, an extended Aquapark with exciting water chutes and water games and a new infinity pool with sea view for le Dune guests. For ultimate in privacy reserve a Villa with its own private pool or book the new private spa within the Acquaforte Spa. In 2019, project green will further enhance the resorts already strong sustainability credentials.

RESTAURANTS

There are 4 types of restaurant : à la carte, gourmet, grill and buffet.

Some require an advance reservation and a supplement. Each hotel has its own breakfast restaurant and a main restaurant plus a choice of 3 or more other restaurants for dinner included in the half board rate.

The restaurants available for everyone are the Brazilian, Forte Grill, the Sardinian restaurant and La Pineta buffet (Cavalieri buffet for Castello guests).

• Beachcomber A superb seafood restaurant overlooking the sea. Freshly grilled fish served with a selection of salad, pasta, fresh fruit and homemade icecream. Opening hours: 12.30-14.30
• Pineta A large buffet surrounded by pine grove, offering a vast array of dishes each day. The menu is further enriched during theme nights with traditional dishes.
• Pizzeria Our pizzeria offers all the joy and casualness of a great pizza with traditional and natural ingredients. To complete the menù, there are other typical Italian dishes such as the Caprese di Bufala, made with buffalo milk cheese, freshly sliced cold meats and a wide selection of fresh salads. The wine list concentrates mainly on Sardinian wines and offers an ample choice of Italian craft beers.
• Forte Grill offers an exceptional selection of high-quality meat from Italy, Ireland and Australia, as well as a choice of desserts and icecreams.
• Hell’s Kitchen You can dine in the first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, exclusive to Forte Village. In addition to à la carte dining, there are sushi and gourmet hamburgers on offer for lunch. Located near the Oasis pool, it is definitely not to be missed.
• Heinz Beck brings his Michelin star flavour to Forte Village. The culinary pioneer and three Michelin starred Chef will be at Forte Village this summer to delight our guests’ palettes!
• Brazillian In this restaurant, with its fresh and relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy delicious meats spit roasted over a charcoal grill.
• Sardinian Sardinia boasts one of the most varied and flavourful gastronomic cultures of Italy, a real melting pot of varied histories and cultures. At Ristorante Sardo you can taste local pasta dishes, meats, vegetables and local cheeses, desserts and wines from the region.
• Fish Market A magnificent seafood restaurant that looks out to sea, the perfect place to enjoy a selection of fresh fish and crustacean, all cooked on the grill. In addition, is a wonderful choice of salads, cheeses and local cured meats. Homemade desserts and icecreams complete the meal. Open from July to the beginning of September.

• Belvedere The gourmet restaurant of Chef Antonello Arrus, the Belvedere, is located on a fabulous terrace overlooking the park and serves traditional Italian and Sardinian dishes enhanced with a touch of creativity.
• Cavalieri The Cavalieri is an elegant 5-star restaurant surrounded by greenery, where every dinner is accompanied by pleasant piano music. Every day the rich buffet, complete with Live Cooking, offers guests Italian and Sardinian specialities. All desserts and icecreams are homemade and prepared fresh every day
• Bellavista A splendid buffet restaurant directly overlooking the sea, offering a wide variety of traditional Italian and Sardinian food. Here you can taste local produce from zero kilometres away, cooked with style and elegance.
• Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia One of the most popular and celebrated restaurants in Milan arrives this summer at Forte Village. Chefs Pisani and Negrini will launch a series of “Gourmet Evenings” on the Forte Bay terrace.

• Da Rocco Iannone with a magnificent view over the Oasis pool, this restaurant is run by Chef Rocco Iannone. An enchanting locale, where you can rediscover the best traditional Italian cuisine. Open from the beginning of July until the end of August. The cost of dining is not included in the accommodation price.
• Vivek Singh Restaurant Vivek Singh, the Executive Chef of the multiple award-winning London restaurant group, The Cinnamon Collection, will bring to Forte Village this summer his modern Indian cuisine from The Old Westminster Library in London.
• Le Dune is a sophisticated à la carte restaurant from which you can admire the Mediterranean Sea while savouring traditional Italian dishes, revisited according to the most modern gastronomic trends.
• La Terrazza San Domenico Chef Massimiliano Mascia, of San Domenico di Imola, brings the excellence of Romagna cuisine to Forte Village. The menù will be enriched with summer dishes designed to take advantage of the seasonality of the raw ingredients and proximity to the sea.
• Schuhbeck’s corner A light and healthy breakfast by the sea, prepared by the stellar chef Alfons Schuhbeck.
• Patio Villa del Parco An intimate and private locale to have your breakfast, with entrance reserved for guests of Villa del Parco.
• Children’s restaurant First and foremost Forte Village is a family resort that provides top quality services specially designed for children.The Mario’s Restaurant serves child-friendly dishes such as pizza, pasta and chips – with delicious and healthy fish and vegetable dishes too. Everything, from the tables and chairs to the mealtimes, is on a children’s scale for our extra special guests, and the young diners are carefully supervised so that you can enjoy relaxing and romantic dinners without having to worry. All the staff, from chefs to waiters, are there to make sure things run smoothly. And the fun doesn’t end with lunch or dinner: straight after they can hop on the toy-train shuttle service and head for Children’s Wonderland.

Dine al fresco under the stars, chose from buffets, themed restaurants, grills or gourmet restaurants. Michelin starred chefs prepare the finest Italian cuisine and Celebrity Chefs visit in July and August to host refined gourmet evenings. Up to 21 restaurants in high season include the authentic regional Italian cuisine and an Italian Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. The half board rates include breakfast and dinner. Wine is not included in the half board except at the Pineta Restaurant which has house wine and mineral water included with the buffet.

REFURBISHMENT

All of the bungalows in the Bouganville and Le Palme have been upgraded and refurbished to the new larger and restyled Deluxe Bungalows. All have a large bathroom with bath and shower and a bedroom with sofa area for 2 adults. In some bungalows the sofa is a sofa-bed for a small child. The rooms of the Villa Del Parco main building and Il Borgo have also been completely refurbished.

ACQUAFORTE THALASSO SPA

The SPA has a unique circuit of 6 Thalasso pools, each with a unique blend of seawater, oil, salt, and temperature, and all immersed in beautiful tropical gardens. Enjoy sports performance training, Turkish baths, massages, gymnasium, wellbeing consultancy, detox, weight loss, anti-aging and health and beauty treatments.

HOTEL IL BORGO 4*

Set in lush green surroundings in the highest part of Forte Village Resort, the deluxe bungalows at Hotel Il Borgo enjoy spectacular views. Surrounded by the light and nature of Sardinia, the bungalows are close to Children’s Wonderland, the Oasis swimming pool and the Baia delle Palme pool with its brilliant water slides.
Each generously-sized bungalow has its own elegant patio. Some bungalows can be connected internally to adjacent bungalows. All have a bathroom with shower, some with bathtub. Special Barbie™ packages for children are available on request (a supplement applies).

Breakfast is served at the Oasis or Bellavista Restaurants. Half-board for guests at Hotel Il Borgo includes dinner at the waterfront Bellavista or at La Pineta or Forte Grill (reservations not required).
