The Resort Valle dell’Erica is set on the sea near Santa Teresa Gallura, a well-known tourist destination in Gallura in the North of Sardinia, looking out over the La Maddalena and Corsica archipelagos and the Straits of Bonifacio International Marine Park. The uninhabited island of Spargi is right in front while the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria are just behind. The limestone cliffs of Bonifacio and the islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo are a little further beyond and are easy to reach on one of the many excursions that leave directly from the resort.

The first part of the Valle dell’Erica, which was the first tourist village in Sardinia, was created in 1958 by Anton Paolo Vincentelli, the valley’s owner and a pioneer of Sardinian tourism. Thanks to the charm of the site and the quality of the construction work carried out, which received recognition from the President of the Italian Republic, during the 1960s Valle dell’Erica became a very «in» destination and often hosted famous guests and even Princes and Kings.

Panoramic restaurant with terrace that looks out over the Straits of Bonifacio and the islands of the Corsican Archipelago. Generous buffet for breakfast, elegant restaurant for dinner with show cooking and spectacular buffet of elegantly presented delicious dishes with incredible flavours.
Exclusive dinners directly on the beach in a romantic atmosphere, barefoot on the sand. Unforgettable evenings that begin with a delicious aperitif under the stars and continue to one of the resort’s little bays for a dinner from an exclusive menu by candlelight, accompanied by the gentle sound of the waves of the Sardinian sea. Also open for lunch for you to enjoy dishes featuring sea-food specialities, the catch of the day and shellfish from the aquarium. Opening of the restaurant is subject to weather conditions.
Elegant restaurant offering candle-lit dinners with attentive waiter service on the panoramic terrace that looks out over the little bays surrounding the resort and the islands of the Archipelago. Restaurant offering typical Sardinian dishes with specialities from authentic Gallura cooking and served surrounded by nature amidst splendid oak trees. Expert local cooks and 0 km products that become delicious dishes: dried meats and preserved vegetables from the Sardinian hinterland prepared according to traditional methods, bread cooked in the wood-fired oven and hot hors d’oeuvres straight from the grill, first courses hand-made as you watch before being served, grilled meats, local cheeses and typical desserts and pastries from Gallura. Romantic restaurant on the terrace that looks out over the beachfront pool, the sea and the uninhabited islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago. Restaurant with wood-fired oven and grill dedicated to the youngest guests of the Mini Club. Fresh genuine products, and always a selection of new ideas for lunch and dinner in the company of new friends while under the supervision of our entertainment staff. (There is an extra charge at lunch for children on half board).
Informal and cheerful beach bar in one of the little bays around the resort where you can enjoy a cocktail or a chilled drink between one swim and another or you can have a delicious light lunch just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge.
A pool bar where you can allow yourself a cool drink without leaving the water. For lunch there are tasty and quick first courses and sea food crudités.
Fresh and tasty snacks for a light yet delicious lunch, the perfect break before spending the afternoon on the beach or beside the pool. In the evening the bar Nemo is the place to go to listen to good music or watch performances by talented artists while sipping a good cocktail or a glass of Mirto directly on the little square.
A prestigious Wellness Thalasso Centre & SPA in Sardinia that follows a natural setting, immersed in the gardens of the Resort Valle dell’Erica, among imposing granite rocks and the typical wooded and flowered scents of the Mediterranean maquis. An oasis of around 1,600 m2 entirely dedicated to wellness:
Thalassotherapy consists of the intelligent and combined use of the many benefits contained in the marine environment; it is by now scientifically proven that as well as being enjoyable and relaxing, Thalasso treatments produce numerous positive side effects for both the mind and the body.
Certain treatments are carried out and enriched with the use of essential oils from Sardinian aromatic plants and herbs. The scent and perfume of these plants, which grow wild in the Valle dell’Erica, combined with the salt-laden air and the pure breezes will leave you with a delicious memory and the desire to come back to this enchanting corner of Sardinia.
Access is restricted to adults or those over the age of 14 if accompanied by their parents or with written authorisation from the same. For mothers-to-be specific programmes are available that exclude certain treatments.
Between private little bays overlooking Corsica and Maddalena Archipelago
The Resort Valle dell’Erica and its green spaces look out over 1,400 m of coastline where romantic coves, some of which are equipped with sunbeds and parasols, share the space with the large public Licciola beach. A crescent of white sand, easy to reach on foot from the rooms, disappears into transparent emerald green waters and looks out over the uninhabited island of Spargi. Reserved for guests, there is a large area equipped with showers, toilets and changing rooms as well as a beach bar to enjoy a cool drink between one swim and another. Parasols and sunbeds are free of charge and there is a lifeguard service.
The unspoilt islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago are right there in front and just ten minutes sailing away: Budelli with its world-famous Spiaggia Rosa or Pink Beach, Spargi, Santa Maria, until the gaze rests upon the Corsican Archipelago, reachable in thirty minutes with the marvellous islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo. Every day there is a wide choice of excursions leaving directly from the resort.
For an invigorating swim there are also four seawater swimming pools in front of the Archipelago: one directly by the sea, one with three large pools linked by waterfalls cascading down natural rocks and with a Swimming Bar and one for children with different depths in a separate section. Finally there is a fresh water pool, reserved for guests in the «Exclusive» area of the Hotel La Licciola.
